We look forward to seeing you in a few days at ISPPD-6, Reykjavik, Iceland. I’d like to bring your attention to a special session that PneumoADIP will be co-sponsoring along with PACE, the Sabin Vaccine Institute and PATH. For the first time at ISPPD, an advocacy session will focus on efforts to translate science into evidence-based policy. This panel discussion, featuring Dr. Samir Saha and Dr. Cynthia Whitney, will include experiences on effective efforts in using evidence to promote awareness to combat pneumococcal disease at country, regional and global levels.
